Lois Muir Challenge

The Lois Muir Challenge is contested annually at the start of the year over March & April among the 12 Netball New Zealand Regions. Netball Bay of Plenty has generally run with a squad of players with 12 being chosen for each game. The players are selected in late January early February and in 2010 trained from time to time with the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic. The team is chosen on the basis that experienced players are willing to be positive in the training of the younger players and that at least one young players selected per third of the court.
