Netball Bay of Plenty has entered three or four teams in this event choosing a top side known as Gold and then having development teams. For players this event extends what they have learnt at the Under 15 event and helps take their competitive development the next level. The event is run over four days at the beginning of the July School Holidays and the Bay of Plenty teams have traditionally stayed at Wanganui Girls. NNZ Selectors attend this event and a tournament team is chosen.
