Shirley has her own business consulting business where she helps set people up in new business here in NZ and Australia. Her focus with new and existing businesses is on systems and processes to help them through the life cycle of business. Her Financial Controller background also assists with these businesses and in her partner’s local engineering business. Sport is and has been a lifelong passion with participation in netball, swimming, badminton, squash, lifesaving, triathalons, multisports and an avid watcher of rugby and league.

Having spent 32 years with the National Bank based all around the North Island Dave spent his last 6 years with the Bank in Rotorua where he was responsible for 410 reasonably large businesses in Rotorua, Tauranga and Taupo. In 2002 he moved on to become a financial consultant for Bright Wild Baty Limited where his role is focused on risk assessment, business funding proposals, business development and financial planning. Dave has led an active life in the communities that he has lived in being involved with School Boards, Lions, Rowing and Surf Club.
Carlo was elected to the Board in 2007 and is the Manager of an Eastern Bay of Plenty Primary Health organisation based in Whakatane. A law graduate admitted to the bar with a diploma in tertiary teaching Carlo has been a trustee on several trusts.
Merv is a chartered accountant who is currently the Chair of the NZ Chartered Accountants Ltd. While the business Gyde Wansbone that Merv is a partner in is based in Te Awamutu the company has a growing number of clients based in the Bay where both he and his business partner have holiday homes. Involved with the Te Awamutu Events Centre as Trust Chair Merv brings a strong background of working within the community to achieve much needed facilities. Jo has been in the travel industry for 15 years. She has played netball, hockey, soccer and competitively raced mountain bikes. Jo has found herself becoming more and more involved in the governance of the game of late and was on the Tauranga Sports Netball and Rugby Board from 1998 to 2004 and the Harbourside Netball Centre Board 2001 to 2005 with her final two years as Board Chair. Jo is married and has a young son and daughter.
